By Staff on from nytimes.com

Scott Lively, an evangelist and the author of the books "Pink Swastika," (which claims that homosexuals inspired Nazism) and “Seven Steps to Recruit-Proof Your Child” (a guide for parents to avoid homosexual indoctrination of children) is being sued by a Uganda gay rights organization for his role in the persecution of Ugandan homosexuals. Lively, who currently resides in Springfield, Massachusetts, began a missionary campaign in Uganda in 2002 that stirred up hatred and fear of area homosexuals.
