Olympic spoiler alert: Today in London, over 83,000 spectators--a U.S. record for women's soccer--watched as the U.S soccer team took Olympic gold in a 2-1 match against Japan. Playing in tonight's game was Megan Rapinoe, a right midfielder who came out as a lesbian earlier this summer. The U.S. has now earned 90 Olympic medals, and is in first place overall (China follows with 80, Russia 56).
