'Spot the Transgender' Ad Banned By British ASA

By Gretchen_J on from care2.com

The British ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) has officially banned a controversial TV spot by the bookmaker "Paddy Power." The ad, which asks the viewer to "spot the transgender" in a crowd of men and women, also refers to the people on screen as "mares" and "stallions." The ad was originally aired at a women's horse racing event, but soon went viral, causing hundreds of complaints. See original link for the full video.
