Only one day after the appointment of their first African-American president, the Southern Baptist church is going after gay rights, again. They have passed a resolution to oppose to the idea of LGBT rights being similar to civil rights. One of the church members was quoted saying: "They're equating their sin with my skin." The resolution bases itself on the argument that there is no scientific proof about homosexuality being genetic.
