Romney backs away from gay adoptions

Real rights versus acknowledgement of rights? Today, on the same day that he accused Obama of being a flip-flopper on gay marriage issues, Mitt Romney told a CBS News affiliate that he does not support gay adoption, but rather, he acknowledges state's rights. Just 24 hours earlier, Romney gave the following statement to Fox News: "If two people of the same gender want to adopt a child...that's something that people have a right to do."
