Psychiatrist and homosexual health pioneer Richard Isay passed away this week after a battle with cancer, according to his son, David Isay, who is the founder of StoryCorps. Isay, who did not come out until he was a 40-year-old married father, helped redefine how the psychiatric community treated the "disease" of homosexuality.
