Petition drive launched to strike down law protecting LGBT people in Omaha

Not at my company: The Omaha Liberty Project, a Tea Party group led by Encore Financial Services CEO Patrick Bonnett, has announced plans to overturn the city's anti-gay discrimination ordinance, which was passed in March of this year. The new law protects LGBT citizens from workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation, which Bonnett, if he gets his way, does not want (Encore Financial Services is based in Omaha). The group has already signed up hundreds of petition collectors who must collect 11,400 signatures for the ordinance to go to a public vote. Read more by clicking the link below.
