"Now you can be proud of serving your country, and be proud of who you are." Today, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta personally thanked every gay and lesbian member serving in the U.S. military. The announcement coincided with yesterday's military nod to Pride month. Panetta also promised to provide more equal access measures for the military.
