Worst race for trans discrimination?: The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF) and the National Center for Transgender Equality are reporting some disturbing figures on transgender Native Americans. According to the final report of the 4-part series, trans Natives are more likely to commit suicide, live in extreme poverty, and contract HIV (compared to the trans community or Native American population as a whole).
