In Catawba County, North Carolina yesterday, over 1,200 protesters peacefully rallied against Charles Worley, the Providence Road Baptist Church pastor who called for all gays and lesbians to be locked in an electrified pen during a Mother's Day sermon. No violence was reported, but a small fire began at the church that has been deemed unrelated. No cameras were permitted in the church during Worley's sermon, which reportedly received a standing ovation.
