Nepal Allows Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender And Intersex Community To Register As 'Others'

Nepal is now the third Asian country to recognize the LGBT community, after India and Bangladesh. The Nepalese Home Ministry will begin allowing citizens to identify as "others." Nepal's first-openly gay legislator, Sunil Babu Pant, made history this year when he asked Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg to provide a section for "others" on Facebook.
