Dems' fighting words: On his website today, new Chick-fil-A spokesperson Mike Huckabee relayed an official Chick-fil-A statement that was given to him by CEO Dan Cathy: “There continues to be erroneous implications in the media that Chick-fil-A changed our practices and priorities in order to obtain permission for a new restaurant in Chicago. That is incorrect. Chick-fil-A made no such concessions, and we remain true to who we are and who we have been.” Huckabee went on to explain that the company would keep its anti-discrimination policy, but never intended to cease donations to anti-gay marriage groups.
