MediaPost Publications LGBT Consumers Are Increasingly Mainstream

Where do you fit in the LGBTid rainbow? The “LGBTid Study,” a new study by Starcom MediaVest Group and Logo, claims that LGBT consumers can be classed into four LGBT personality groups: "Out and Proud," who politically "wear" their sexual orientation; "Beyond The Alphabet," younger people who avoid labels of sexual orientation; "Initiators,” who take part in political reform; and "Just Who I Am," the consumers who avoid the politics because their sexual orientation does not completely define them.
