March Planned For Victims Of DC's Anti-Gay Crimes
A march has been scheduled in Washington D.C. to raise money for the hospital bills of three hate crime victims--a gay man shot outside an IHOP, a gay man who was beaten and robbed on Georgia Avenue, and a transgender woman who was assaulted and beaten in northeast Washington. All three crimes, which occurred within one week, have been classified as hate crimes. If you live in the DC area, the march is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the IHOP restaurant on 14th and Irving Street.
