Kazakhstan says no to gay men in the military

Just one day after Israel's Defense Force made world history for publicly supporting its gay soldiers, the defense minister of Kazakhstan announced that no gay men will be permitted to serve in the country's mandatory military force. Adilbek Dzhaksybekov stated that gay men do not make the cut because homosexuality is considered "a disorder of sexual desire," which the military's psychological test will identify.
