Ashwin Srinivasan, the gay son of Indian Cricket Board president N Srinivasan, has come forward with allegations that police attacked he and his partner with metal rods at the bequest of his father, who does not approve of his homosexuality. Srinivasan and his partner of 13 years, Avi Mukjerjee, were taken from a restaurant mid-meal and charged with leaving without paying the bill, which led to a severe beating.
