Hundreds gather for gay activist memorial

The friends and supporters of the gay activist murdered outside a bar in Halifax say that Raymond Taavel's kind nature inspired them to forgive and seek a more compassionate community. Taavel was murdered on April 17th, and about 200 gathered this Sunday at his memorial.
