Gospel music historian and producer Anthony Heilbut may have left out homosexuality from his original book, but his new book, “The Fan Who Knew Too Much,” will be chock full of stories about gay gospel singers. According to the 71-year-old author of the "Gospel Sound," there is a "secret closet" that is reserved for gay gospel, but the church treats gay people with hypocrisy and intolerance.
