Marching orders: Two Republican representatives of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. J. Randy Forbes (R-Va) and Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe are calling for an end to the Pentagon's recent exception to allow gay service members to march in pride parades in full military uniform. The Pentagon allowed a one-time exception for this past week's San Diego pride parade, but generally forbids the practice. Inhofe added that the Pentagon "continues to force its liberal social agenda on the military by promoting the homosexual agenda, mandating the use of high-cost green energy initiatives, pursuing abortion rights and suppressing the free exercise of religious liberties."
