Too "crude and rude" for Utah? No way, says GLAAD: A NBC affiliate in Utah has dropped "The New Normal" from its fall lineup, citing problems with language and "inappropriate" subject matter. The series, by Glee show runner Ryan Murphy, centers around a gay couple and their new surrogate. GLAAD President Herndon Graddick: "While audiences, critics and advertisers have all supported LGBT stories, KSL is demonstrating how deeply out of touch it is with the rest of the country."
