Senior citizens are a part of the community, and as they become more visible, their special needs become a concern. In response to the growing number of LGBT people over the age of 65, efforts have been made to facilitate the care they need. The Gay Alliance of Genesee Valley is the latest organization to open a gay senior center that stresses the importance of LGBT senior care.
