Newly crowned Miss Gay Kuruman, Thapelo Makutle, was murdered after an alleged altercation with two heterosexual men about his homosexuality. He was found dead in his room with a severe wound on his neck last Saturday in Cape Town. Police are investigating the incident, but no further details have been released so far.
