By Staff on from ontopmag.com

One of the anti-gay organizations responsible for passing California's Prop 8 legislation, the referendum that repealed gay marriage in the state, has been fined over $49,000 for failing to release information for donations greater than $5,000. The California Fair Political Practices Commission has contacted the group, "ProtectMarriage.com – Yes on 8," which has owned up to the mistake and agreed to pay the fines.
