Ellen DeGeneres and Cher were just a few of the entertainers on hand for tonight's 600-person Obama fundraiser event in Los Angeles. The president, who was introduced by Baseball Hall of Famer Willie Mays, spoke about his plans for LGBT rights and the economy: "Virginia or Iowa or North Carolina or California, all across the country, there are a lot of folks who are still wondering — are we going to be able to fully deliver on that promise of a country that is thriving and has an economy that is built to last?"
