Gay Couples May Get Reprieve in Deportation Cases

A sign that DOMA is on the way out?: The Department of Homeland Security's ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) will soon be implementing a new policy for illegal immigrants in same-sex relationships. While green cards and visas for same sex married couples are still prohibited under DOMA, the new ICE regulation would put a hold on any current deportation of an immigrant in a steady same-sex relationship.
