Gay artist who vandalized Chick-fil-A won't be charged

Value, meal: Graffiti artist Manuel Castro will not be charged for his "Tastes Like Hate" painting on a Torrence, California Chick-fil-A restaurant earlier this month. Castro, who has offered to pay $700 in restitution, stands by his decision to protest the fast food chain, which he originally stated to the HuffPo: "I didn’t use violence. I used paint. Artists for centuries have expressed their opinions through this medium and I am no different. I am happy to pay for the costs of repainting the wall, but I am not — nor will I ever be — happy to sit quietly at the back of the bus."
