Gay activist arrested in Family Research Council shooting

In the lobby of the Family Research Council office today, gay activist Floyd Corkins II opened fire on a security guard, Leo Johnson, before being disarmed by the guard and arrested by Washington D.C. police. Corkins, who works at the D.C. Center for the LGBT Community, was carrying a Chick-fil-A bag at the time of the attack and allegedly told Johnson that "it was not about you." Johnson is in stable condition with a shot to the arm.
