The Kids are Alright: The Federal Office of Personnel Management has proposed a new healthcare measure that would give medical, dental, and vision benefits to children (up to age 26) of federal employees in same-sex relationships. One small caveat: DOMA, which is still in place and defines marriage between a man and woman, would prohibit the employee's same-sex spouse from receiving the same healthcare benefits.
