Baptist quits conference after gay ceremony fuss

Baseless allegation: After the Southern Baptist church publicly called him out for attending a gay wedding at his New Jersey military base, U.S. Air Force Chaplain Col. Timothy Wagoner has left the convention. Wagoner did not officiate the wedding, but attended to give the couple support: “I find very little that is more important and nothing that is more exhilarating than providing for the religious freedoms and spiritual care of all service members and their families — and will joyfully continue to do so."
