Australian lawmakers uphold ban on gay marriage

Aussie House not ready for gay marriage: Despite more than half the population in support of gay marriage, Australia's House of Representatives voted 98-42 today to continue recognizing marriage as between one man and one woman. The decision is due, in part, to the conservative Liberal Party majority in the House. Read more on the decision at KCAU-TV.
